Hannover claim away day points
Bochum remain perilously close to the Bundesliga drop zone after they lost 2-0 at home to Hannover on Friday night.
Hannover took the lead after just 12 minutes when Jacek Krzynowek centred for Arnold Bruggink to head home.
It was a lead that was extended 20 minutes later when Hanno Balitsch converted a close range header from Bruggink's corner.
Bochum tried to rally after the break but it proved to be in vain as Hannover comfortably held on for a maximum haul.
The result leaves Bochum in 14th, while Hannover have moved up to 11th.
