Russell Slade secured his first win since taking over as Brighton boss as his former club Yeovil were thrashed 5-0.
Winger Dean Cox fired the Seagulls in front after 16 minutes and Nicky Forster doubled their advantage by latching on to a Cox flick before firing home.
Brighton continued to dominate and Forster fired home his second from 10 yards after 62 minutes.
Substitute Glenn Murray added the Seagulls' fourth with a penalty 11 minutes from time after player-boss Terry Skiverton handled a cross from Cox.
Yeovil keeper Joshua Wagenaar was sent off for bringing down Craig Davies in the 83rd minute and Cox completed the rout a minute from time.
