Sporting Lisbon profited from some dreadful goalkeeping to come away from Dynamo Kiev with a 2-1 win. Kiev keeper Alexander Shovkovsky was at fault for both the Portuguese side's goals. The visitors took a 14th minute lead when Yannick Djalo swung a teasing ball in with his left foot which Shovkovsky challenged for with Sporting's Antonio Tonel. The visitors' defender raised his foot as he went for the cross but the home keeper could only push the ball against Tonel and into the net. The home side levelled when they gave the experienced Vladislav Vaschuk too much time and space in the area. The Kiev defender picked up Goran Gavrancic's clever backheel and had plenty of opportunity to pick his spot and fire the ball between Correa Anderson Polga's legs and into the net.Dinamo Kiev | Team Statistics | Sporting Lisbon | |
