Veteran striker earns battling point
A late header from David Trezeguet earned Juventus a battling 2-2 draw at Genoa in Serie A on Thursday.
It was the first time Juventus had dropped points in five matches this season but they still moved level with champions Inter Milan at the top of the table on 13 points.
Striker Vincenzo Iaquinta had put visitors Juventus in front after six minutes with a well-worked goal before Giandomenico Mesto equalised just after the half hour.
Genoa substitute Hernan Crespo then nodded in at the near post to put the hosts ahead in the 74th minuted, after Iaquinta had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside,
But Trezeguet then grabbed a deserved draw when the Genoa defence fell apart in the 86th minute to allow the veteran striker to score.
