Laryea Kingston passed a late fitness test to feature in Hearts' first league win for three games. Hearts started at a formidable pace with Andrew Driver opening the scoring after just three minutes, netting his fifth of the season. Andrius Velicka doubled the lead on 14 minutes before Aberdeen midfielder Jeffrey de Visscher pulled one back for the visitors in the 38th minute. Hearts, watched by owner Vladimir Romanov for the first time this season, went further ahead on 54 minutes. Michael Stewart played in a set-piece finding Ibrahim Tall who powered a header in from 12 yards out. Christian Nade continued his scoring form after his equaliser in the Edinburgh derby last week, scoring in the 62nd minute to make it 4-1. The French striker had his first shot blocked by Zander Diamond but on his second attempt he buried the ball into the net.
