Luton v Macclesfield preview

Luton's top scorer Asa Hall could start in the visit of Macclesfield, who are again missing three players.

Hall may return; Macc missing trio

Luton's top scorer Asa Hall could be set to regain his place in the starting line-up for the visit of Macclesfield, who are again missing three players. The 22-year-old was left on the bench for the midweek win over Grimsby, but came off the bench to score a last-gasp winner - his 10th goal of the season - to keep the Hatters' slim survival hopes alive. Striker Sam Parkin is also pushing for a recall to the side but defender Ed Asafu-Adjaye is a doubt after picking up a knock in last weekend's defeat to Aldershot which ruled him out of the Grimsby game. Mick Harford's side will be looking to avenge a 2-1 defeat to Macclesfield back in September when Ryan Charles' late goal was only a consolation.

Macc team news

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander will again be without a trio of players for the trip to Kenilworth Road. Defender James Jennings has missed the past six games with a knee injury sustained during the 3-1 defeat against Gillingham on 21st February. He is unlikely to play again this season and striker Francis Green also remains out of action as he battles to recover from his own knee injury. Defender Sean Hessey is nursing a groin strain which has worsened and he is rated as extremely doubtful to face the Hatters. Alexander, meanwhile, was this week given the all-clear to return to work after undergoing a brain scan last Saturday. Alexander, who suffered a brain aneurysm in 2003, complained of feeling unwell before the home defeat to Bournemouth and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
