Trotters boss keen to see youngster continue his development

Bolton manager Owen Coyle says he is keen to extend Benfica youngster Rodrigo's loan spell at the Reebok Stadium. The 20-year-old winger has impressed for the Trotters since arriving on a season-long loan from the Portuguese giants last August. Benfica, who bought Rodrigo from Real Madrid last summer before immediately loaning him out, reportedly want to make the move permanent, and have put a £4million price tag on his head. But while Bolton are unlikely to part with that sum, Coyle is hopeful of bringing the Brazilian-born Spanish youth international to the Lancashire club for another temporary stint. "It's a due process and we'll go through it," Coyle told the Bolton News. "We like Rodrigo and if we were able to entice him back, then he will be better served by the experiences he's had."
