Duo near move to champions
Benoit Pedretti and Marko Basa are both rumoured to be summer targets for Ligue 1 champions Lille.
The club have also taken steps to begin looking for a replacement for Yohan Cabaye who is believed to be closing in on a deal to join Newcastle United.
Auxerre captain Pedretti is the player earmarked to switch allegiances in Ligue 1 and admitted the prospect of joining the title-winning side is a tempting one.
"It is a club which will play in the Champions League and which has a nice project," he told
L'Equipe.
"They have everything. A good game, quality, a new big stadium in one year. They have yet to confirm, but if they need me, of course I would be attracted."
Centre-back Basa has a year remaining on his contract at Lokomotiv Moscow, yet is also rumoured to be lined up to replace the departing Adil Rami at Stade Lille-Metropole.
The 28-year-old is valued in the region of €1.5million and could be prised away from Russia when the transfer window opens.
