Zarate does not want to leave Italian capital
Lazio are interested in Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti, according to his agent, while Mauro Zarate wants to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
Giuseppe Bozzo, who represents both players, has revealed that Lazio and Juventus have made enquiries about Marchetti and that the former is the probable destination.
But €25million-rated Zarate does not want to be on the move amid reports also linking him with Juventus.
Bozzo told
Sky Sport Italia regarding Italy international Marchetti: "I can say that there is strong interest from Lazio, an interest which is reciprocated by Federico.
"Now we have to transform this interest in a contract. We are pleased by the interest of Juventus and other clubs, but we have given word to Lazio's president Claudio Lotito."
Bozzo has also repeated that Zarate has no wish to move away from the Italian capital.
He said: "He is calm. He is getting married and wants to stay in Rome.
"He is a player who has market interest, but also a rating around €20m-€25m. We will see."
