Austrian joins Dutch club on two-year deal
NAC Breda have confirmed the signing of Austrian midfielder Andreas Lasnik on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old, who was without a club having departed relegated Willem II at the end of last season, has penned a two-year deal with the Eredivisie side.
Lasnik refused a move to Breda earlier in the summer but the departure of Matthew Amoah has allowed the club to make a better offer.
NAC technical director Jeffrey van As is looking forward to working with the once-capped Austria international.
He told the club's
official website: "We see him as a technically skilled, creative and offensive midfielder who can play on both wings.
"He's a player with an excellent free-kick.
"Last year he scored nine times for Willem II and notched up around 12 assists. If he does that this season as well, then we have done a good deal in signing him."
