Rangers could get Pienaar and Claasen

Queens Park Rangers are ready to make a renewed bid to land Steven Pienaar and are also lining up a move for his fellow countryman Daylon Claasen. Sky Sports revealed Rangers' interest in Pienaar earlier this month, but Tottenham shunned their initial move. New Rs manager Mark Hughes remains keen on Pienaar and is still hopeful of luring him from White Hart Lane. And Sky Sports understands that QPR are looking to make it a South African double with a deal for Claasen too. 21-year-old Claasen is a full international and has emerged as one of the best midfielders in Belgium with his club Lierse. Claasen is a graduate of Ajax's academy, having been discovered playing for their Cape Town club before being moved to their Dutch set-up in 2008.
