Copenhagen captain in process of sealing pre-contract agreement
Sky Sports understands FC Copenhagen captain Zanka Jorgensen is having a medical at PSV Eindhoven.
Newcastle, West Brom and Everton were all interested in the centre-back, but he has opted for a move to the Eredivisie.
Jorgensen had received offers from all the major leagues, including the Premier League, but he is now in the process of agreeing a pre-contract with PSV.
The 21-year-old, who is called Mathias, but is nicknamed Zanka, is said to believe the move to The Netherlands is the correct career switch as he aims to develop into a top-class defender.
Newcastle, West Brom and Everton will all be disappointed by the decision after the trio of clubs targeted Jorgensen's long-term potential.
