Manager impressed by FC Twente's wide players
Fulham boss Martin Jol is a fan of FC Twente winger Ola John but says the teenager is out of the Cottagers' price range.
The manager claims Twente have put a €12million price tag on the 19-year-old Dutchman, who has made a big impact for the club this season, scoring eight Eredivisie goals.
Jol, who signed winger Bryan Ruiz from Enschede last summer, is an admirer of Liberia-born John but admits a swoop for the youngster is unlikely.
He Dutch boss told
NUSport: "He has broken through and now FC Twente are asking for 12 million.
"With that kind of money I do not need to go to my boss."
John and Ruiz are just two of many Twente wingers to have caught Jol's eye in recent years, with Nacer Chadli another wideman on his radar, while Fenerbahce's Miroslav Stoch and Juventus man Eljero Elia have also spent time at the club.
"FC Twente are always very good with outside players," he added.
"First Stoch, then Elijah, then Chadli and Ruiz and now John. It does seem like an increasing vision."
