Walsall goalkeeper David Grof has signed a new one-year deal with the League One club as their squad takes shape for the new season.
The 23 year-old Hungarian is the first out-of-contract player to put pen to paper on new terms at the Banks's Stadium. Saddlers manager Dean Smith said: "I am delighted that David has agreed to sign this new deal. "We brought him in last summer as something of an unknown quantity in terms of playing first-team games, but he worked extremely hard and forced his way into the team to make 25 appearances. "It's the first part of the jigsaw and I am pleased that David feels that this is the place where his career can continue to develop and progress. "Discussions are ongoing with our other out-of-contract players and I am hopeful that there will be more news to follow in the days ahead."
