League Two club Bristol Rovers have announced the signing of Colchester midfielder Andrew Bond on a month-long loan deal.

The 27-year-old, who has made five appearances for the U's this season, will link up with his new team-mates ahead of the trip to Dagenham. Manager John Ward told the club's official website: "He was the first player I signed when I was manager at Colchester, so I know what he can do. "He is just what I was looking for in terms of experience and he has played at a number of different levels. He gives me an experienced player where I currently have youth. "He is an all action player, very energetic and busy, and he can play in a number of different positions."
