Fiorentina hold Juventus as Roma net three at Parma

Fiorentina levelled late on to hold Juventus in a 1-1 draw, while Roma sent three past Parma, and Genoa continue their run of good form with a 2-0 win at home to Cagliari. Juventus looked like they had took all three points away at Fiorentina after Vincenzo Iaquinta opened the scoring on 23 minutes. But it was not enough as Adrian Mutu levelled with an 87th minute penalty, maintaining Fiorentina's unbeaten record. Luciano Spalletti's Roma sent three past Parmataking them level on points with Juventus in second. Francesco Totti gave them an early lead on two minutes before Alessandro Mancini added a second on 20 minutes. Parma then went down to ten men after Bernardo Corradi was dismissed for his second yellow card on 26 minutes. Totti secured the win on 82 minutes netting his second of the game. Elsewhere, Genoa continued their good form with a 2-0 win over Cagliari. Marco Borriello scored on 59 minutes before substitute Marco di Vaio added a second on 73 minutes. Siena recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Empoli recording their first win of the season. Massimo Maccarone opened the scoring with a penalty on 65 minutes before half-time sub Tomas Locatelli doubled the lead on 79 minutes. Daniele Galloppa added the third on 82 minutes after Empoli's Daniele Adani was sent off after a second bookable offence on 64 minutes. Two injury time goals ensured Palermo and Reggina shared the points. Nicola Amoruso scored on 92 minutes before Carvalho Amauri levelled two minutes later. The game also saw Palermo's Giuseppe Biava sent off after picking up his second booking on 88 minutes. Elsewhere, Catania took all three points at home to Livorno thanks to a winner from Gennaro Sardo on 19 minutes. And to add to Livorno's woes, veteran defender David Balleri was dismissed on 76 minutes. Sampdoria suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Torino after Eugenio Corini grabbed the winner on 89 minutes. Sampdoria's Sergio Volpi was handed a straight red just before half-time. In the evening kick-off Milan bounced back from their midweek loss to Celtic with a 5-1 thumping of Lazio. Carlo Ancelotti's men took an early lead when Massimo Ambrosini netted on 15 minutes, but Lazio hit-back seven minutes later through Stefano Mauri. Kaka (32) then sparked the demolition when he regained Milan's lead from the penalty spot. The Brazilian made it 3-1 on 51 minutes before Alberto Gilardino (70 and 78) scored a brace to seal a dramatic win.
