Lazio leave it late, Inter held, Milan and Fiorentina lose

Valon Behrami's last-gasp goal gave Lazio a thrilling 3-2 win over Roma in the Rome derby. Behrami struck in the closing seconds to dent Roma's title bid after an enthralling capital derby. Rodrigo Taddei gave Roma the lead on 31 minutes, but Goran Pandev drew Lazio level a minute before the break. Tommaso Rocchi fired Lazio in front on 56 minutes only for Simone Perrotta to hit back for Roma eight minutes later. The game looked set to end all-square until Behrami popped up with the winner in the final minute. Genoa denied leaders Internazionale another win as Marco Borriello's late goal earned the home side a 1-1 draw. Inter broke the deadlock on 12 minutes when David Suazo found the net, but the visitors were reduced to ten men five minutes before the break when Pele was dismissed. Genoa made their numerical advantage count when Borriello struck five minutes from time. Juventus missed the chance to close the gap on the top two after being held to a goalless draw at struggling Empoli. Sampdoria added to Milan's woes with a 2-1 win at the San Siro. Cristian Maggio opened the scoring for Samp on 12 minutes and Gennaro Delvecchio stunned the home fans with the visitors' second goal on 25 minutes. Alberto Paloschi pulled a goal back for Milan 19 minutes from time to give the Rossoneri hope. Stefano Lucchini was sent off in the final minute for the visitors but Sampdoria held on to take the spoils. The win boosts Sampdoria's European hopes and moves them to within one point of Milan. Napoli dented Fiorentina's European aspirations with a 2-0 win in Naples. Two first-half goals from Ezequiel Lavezzi were enough to give the home side all three points. Basement boys Cagliari picked up a morale-boosting win with a surprise 1-0 victory over Atalanta. Robert Acquafresca scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot on 17 minutes to give Cagliari the points. To compound Atalanta's misery Moris Carrozzieri was sent off 14 minutes from time. Parma boosted their survival hopes with a late 2-1 success over Palermo at the Ennio Tardini. The home side suffered a blow on 27 minutes when McDonald Mariga was red carded Despite their numerical disadvantage Igor Budan gave Parma the lead on 51 minutes only for Edinson Cavani to draw Palermo level on 67 minutes. Palermo ended the game with ten men when Andrea Barzagli was sent off on 70 minutes. Parma netted the winner a minute from time when Budan kept his cool to score from the penalty spot. Udinese kept up their pursuit of a top-six finish with a 1-0 victory at Torino. Simone Pepe was the hero for Udinese with the winner on 25 minutes. Struggling duo Livorno and Reggina shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw at Armando Picchi. Franco Brienza gave Reggina the lead on 33 minutes, but Erjon Bogdani levelled matters on the hour mark. Catania picked up a priceless point in their battle against relegation with a goalless draw at home to Siena.
