Tranmere boosted their play-off hopes as a fine second-half display secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Carlisle.
Danny Graham hit the post for Carlisle in an entertaining opening period, but it was Tranmere who took the lead shortly after the interval as Ian Moore forced the ball home from close range following a corner.
Substitute Gareth Edds made it 2-0 shortly afterwards as he finished off a flowing move with a shot which cannoned home off the underside of the bar.
Graham pulled one back for United on the hour from a cross by Paul Thirlwell before Jennings restored the two-goal advantage with a good finish after an Andy Taylor throw-in.
Moore then blasted home a superb fourth from just inside the box in the 77th minute to seal the points.
