Hosts miss chances to make it five wins in a row
Wycombe saw their run of four straight wins come to an end as they failed to break down a solid Brentford side at Adams Park.
Wanderers should have scored after 20 minutes when Scott Shearer's goal-kick bounced through to Chris Zebroski, but the forward dragged his shot narrowly wide.
Two minutes later Wycombe had another chance to score but Scott McGleish's header from Gavin Grant's cross was well saved by Ben Hamer.
Just before the break Brentford came close through a curling long range effort from Marvin Williams but Shearer got a hand to it.
With 15 minutes remaining Wanderers' Matt Phillips found substitute Matt Harrold but the young striker's powerful header was superbly saved by Hamer.
