Huddersfield have eased into the fifth round of the Challenge Cup with a comfortable 42-16 victory at Harlequins.
A fortnight after thrashing Quins 46-6 in Super League, the Giants picked up where they left off in the capital, Luke Robinson and David Hodgson leading the rout with two tries apiece.
Nathan Brown's side quickly got into their stride and went ahead when Keith Mason cantered into acres of space to cross.
Quins then managed to draw level when Tony Clubb burst through a number of tackles to touch down under the posts.
But the Londoners were, in general, misfiring in attack and also missing tackles in defence, allowing the visitors to maintain a grip on the game.
The points began to flow late in the first half, firstly when Robinson stepped inside and out to confuse the defence and score.
He was involved again minutes later - Robinson breaking before his offload allowed David Hodgson to dart in at the corner.
Hodgson set up Stephen Wild for a clear run to the line on the hooter and moments after the restart he was put through for his second by Michael Lawrence.
Ragged
Quins' defence was by now becoming increasingly ragged and, with the game opening up, the Giants profited further through Robinson.
Matters were, by now, more or less settled - a situation which led Huddersfield to take their foot off the gas.
With the pressure off, Quins started to pass the ball with abandon and made the scoreline respectable with late scores from Karl Temata and David Howell.
Fittingly, however, the visitors were to have the final word with two late scores - Paul Whatuira sprinting down the wing to touch down, before Brett Hodgson scored in the dying seconds.
